Z: Zero. Zilch. Nada.

Zero.  Zilch.  Nada. That's how much we have left to go in the A to Z Challenge.  I forget where I heard about this challenge but I remember exploring it last December.  I decided then I wanted to try it just for fun.  I liked the structure and I've had a good time with this project.  Prior to April 1, I had written about ten posts - random days where I already knew what the letter was going to stand for.  I didn't want to pre write everything but ten posts gave me a good head start.

Some people opted for a theme and it seemed like the organizing panel thought that was a good idea (though certainly not required).  I, however, chose random as my theme and that worked well for me.  It allowed me to go exactly where my fingers wanted to go that day.

I also enjoyed reading lots of other new blogs.  I have visited over three hundred blogs this month and I hope the list stays posted for a while as I would enjoy visiting more.  I have made some new blogging friends and my "to do" book reading list has grown immensely.

In short, this A to Z Challenge was fun and, for sure, I want to do it again next year .  I'll probably start working on posts any day now!

    1. What's up next is getting back to the usual pattern but maybe a little more often than before. I have so many ideas floating around in my head - I just need to nail them down. I also really like getting better acquainted with the bloggers (like YOU) who are a part of my blogging world. That's a big one. Fingers crossed for the outcome of the Adoption Fair.

    1. OKAY! Let's write some more Kooser posts - or other poets - I love some of the classics too - Langston Huges, Robert Frost, Carl Sandburg -- I am most familiar with American poets - as I am with all things in literature - I have a harder time with the Brits , for example.

    2. Sounds great! I enjoy the three you mentioned. I took several classes about the Romantic poets--love Coleridge--but right now I prefer the modern writers. I'll see what I can come up with.

  9. Congrats on finishing the challenge. This was my first year and now I'm thinking, what the hell am I going to do now? But now that I have actual people who read my blog, I'm coming up with a plan.
    Thanks for the encouragement.

    1. Oddly enough, I am kinda sad it is over. I enjoyed thinking ahead about the posts and writing some and letting others stew around for awhile. I am also sad that my favorite month of the year has gone into hibernation for eleven months.....

  13. Thank you for participating in the Challenge this year. It was an overwhelming, but fun experience. I still am trying to make it through the list and continue to discover blogs that I didn't get to or don't remember.

Congratulations on making it through the alphabet with us in 2012.
